Finding & overview

In view mode, search, filter, progress bar and section navigation help you keep an overview in larger lists.

Search

Via the search field you search the list. Search becomes active from 3 characters and considers:

section, category and subcategory names as well as
item names.

Matches in the item name are highlighted. If a section or category title matches the search, all items contained within are shown. If there is no match, the note "No results for …" appears. With the reset button you clear the search again.

Search is also available in edit mode – so you can jump straight to an item or section while editing, too. An active search carries over when you switch between viewing and editing.

Status filter

Via the filter (next to the search field) you show items by status. A click opens a small chooser with the options:

All · Packed · Open · To buy · To do

Every option (except "All") carries a matching icon. The filter can be combined with search.

On a smartphone: On narrow screens the filter button is shown compactly as just an icon; an active filter is marked with a dot.

Progress

A progress bar at the top shows how much is already packed – as a bar and as text "X / Y packed · Z %". Additionally every section, category and subcategory has its own small indicator "X / Y"; when everything is packed, a check mark appears.

Weight

If you have entered a weight on items, the section headings show the total weight, and in the list info a weight button opens the weight overview. Everything about this is in the Weight chapter.

With several sections there is the "Jump to section" bar. The currently visible section is highlighted while scrolling; a click jumps straight there.

On a smartphone: On narrow screens the jump marks sit behind the table of contents icon on the left of the bar. The list header with search field, filter and jump marks stays pinned at the top while scrolling, so you don't have to scroll back up to reach it. As soon as you scroll, the list title collapses away to leave more room for the list; back at the top it reappears.
